Dr. Daniels founded the Chicago Children’s Clinic to provide expert care for children,
and also to empower families and professionals with the tools and training necessary
to help children succeed. His practice, founded in 2000, is built on the philosophy
that it takes a team to help a child thrive.
Dr. Daniels has received numerous awards and grants for his research studies on
autism, cooperative learning, and bipolar disorder. He is an invited speaker at
many agencies, school districts, and parent groups. He specializes in the treatment
of children with autism, social skill deficits, disruptive behavior, or learning
disabilities. The Chicago Children's Clinic, led by Dr. Robert Daniels, was chosen
by the University of California, Santa Barbara to be the first Chicago-area treatment
setting to train professionals in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) for children
with autism. In addition to being the Founder and Executive Director of the Chicago
Children’s Clinic, Dr. Daniels serves on the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit
agency, Jewish Child and Family Services.

Dr. Northington assesses and treats children and adolescents with learning disabilities,
social-emotional conditions, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and
autism spectrum disorders. Areas of interest include interventions to improve executive
functioning (i.e., organization and study skills) in adolescents, assisting children
with autism become successful in general education and community activities with
typically developing peers, and the treatment of anxiety in school-aged children.
She is certified in the implementation of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) for children
with autism spectrum disorders. In addition to being a post-doctoral fellow at the
Chicago Children’s Clinic, Dr. Northington is an adjunct professor at the Illinois
Institute of Technology.

Mrs. Daskal has more than 30 years’ experience teaching receptive and expressive
language skills and study and organizational skills. She performs psychoeducational
evaluations that include extensive assessment of receptive and expressive language,
perceptual processing, memory, and academic achievement.

Ms. Gramann has extensive training in oral-motor dysfunctions that impair children’s
ability to speak and eat. She specializes in interventions for oral sensory integration
deficits and feeding disorders, and provides consultation for early intervention,
preschool, and elementary school programs. Ms. Gramann is certified in the implementation
of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) for children with autism spectrum disorders,
as well as the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule and the Autism
Diagnostic Interview-Revised.
